At DEAFCYBERCON, our aim is to increase the net job growth rate for full- and part-time positions for deaf women in cybersecurity. This pledge is a small step towards creating an equitable pipeline of opportunities for deaf women.  By taking the pledge, you join a community of thought leaders, educators, business owners, hiring managers and non-profits that are committed to remove the barriers to entry for deaf women.

We pledge to mentor, hire, promote or advance the career of at least one deaf woman in cybersecurity.

We pledge to serve as mentors and role models for deaf women to help them explore and navigate careers in cybersecurity.

We pledge to remove barriers to entry by creating internships, hosting bootcamps, career fairs, and educating our peers about this talented but underutilized pool of resources.

We pledge to increase awareness by serving as thought leaders, conducting research, and participating in conferences that focus on deaf women and cybersecurity.

We pledge to create inclusive environments where deaf women can connect, collaborate and explore by completing at least one deaf culture or awareness session, and including deaf women in our planning efforts.
